2026 Big Island Press Club Scholarships
The Big Island Press Club is proud to announce the opening of our 2026 Scholarship Program. We are seeking the next generation of watchdogs and storytellers to carry on our 50-year legacy of transparency and integrity in Hawai‘i.
We welcome applications from graduating high school seniors and full-time college students with Big Island ties pursuing careers in journalism or related communications. High school students attending tuition-based journalism programs or camps are also encouraged to apply. Please note that all funds awarded, up to $1,500, are paid directly to the student's academic organization.
To be considered for the 2026 cycle, including the Arballo, Fukabori, and Miller legacy awards, please submit your application, work samples, and official transcripts via our online portal below by midnight on April 30, 2026.
